Introducing Alana
Alana is in the Nutrition and Exercise Science program and has one more semester left before she graduates. She wants to pursue the career as a physical therapist. She is married and a nineteen year old son. She has five sisters and she is the eldest. Alana works part-time and attends school full-time. On her free time she loves to travel, her next place she would like to travel is New Orleans.
A little bit about Andrew
My partner Andrew is a sophomore and looking for transfer to City college. He doesn’t like Queens college because the building and rooms here are hard to find and I feel him. He likes basketball and used to play in his HighSchool School team, Lebron James is his favorite player. He likes pizza and Superman , he play games like Call of Duty during his free time.
Ashley
An interview with Ashley revealed that she is a Queens native who spent part of her childhood living in Florida. She has 1 sibling, a brother, and no children. Ashley attends Queens college full time as a FNES student and works part-time at a hospital. She is currently in her Junior year. When Ashley is not attending school or work she spends much of her free time exercising. After her undergraduate degree is complete Ashley intends on continuing her education so she may pursue a career as a physician’s assistant.
Get to Know Wynnter
Wynnter is a junior at Queens College, majoring in Computer Science. He transferred from NYIT, so this is currently his third semester at QC. Wynnter commutes to Queens College by bus from his home in Rego Park. Now that he is getting into his Computer Science courses, Wynnter is looking into the different fields of Computer Science, and what he wants to focus on in the future (in regards to his career). When he’s not in school, Wynnter enjoys reading complete series of books, and currently his two favorites are the Ender’s Game and Eragon series.
All About Ariella
I interviewed Ariella Kornreich. She is a twenty-one-year-old full-time student living in Westchester. She is a Biology major with a minor in Science Research. She is focusing on the research of female bird song. On her spare time she likes to do some creative writing, and she also likes to stream on Twitch. Twitch is a live streaming video platform for gaming. Her favorite games to stream are Plague-Inc and Okami.
A bit about Melissa Orsano
Melissa Orsano is a charismatic 22 year old student of Sociology from Queens with a particular interest in Education. She hopes to pursue her studies of education in a Master’s program. In addition to being an undergraduate at Queens College, she is also a teacher’s assistant at a Pre-Kindergarten. The greatest source of stress from this vocation is the apparent boy-driven drama of 7-year-old females and the boundless energy of those younger. Her hobbies include working out at the gym with a particular affinity for pilates and light weightlifting, attending concerts and watching movies and videos from YouTube. She enjoys the companionship of a dog as well.

Lives in Bayside, so travel to Queens College is pretty easy. As part of her music performances, she plays the French Horn. Part of an orchestra that plays in Carnegie Hall three times a year, so spends a lot of time practicing. Loves to go to music performances such as the Philharmonic in her free time. Currently, she’s auditioning for Masters as part of her Music Performance Major because she’s graduating this semester!
